Hello
Everyone,
For those of you who know me, you know that I have never
been one to stay in the lines or follow a crowd. For those
who don't once we meet you will understand. This being the
case, I would like to introduce you to a passion of mine
for as long as I can remember. Cooking you may ask, yes
cooking. My grandma Genevieve kicked me out of the kitchen
in frustration many times. She also inspired me to be proud
of who I am. Most of my recipes are things that she made
or my version of the things she made when we were kids.
She just seemed to know how to cook things and didn't leave
a lot of written recipes. I have been working on a lot of
these recipes for a long while, filling my neighbors and
friends with my labors, till they told me to stop.
(Just
kidding)
I spent a lot of my life running around and never staying
in one place long. Wow how things have changed, thanks to
some very special people. Those that I wouldn't know what
to do without, my husband, Chet, and many others that have
helped me to find a warm place to settle down. My little
sister Sam, who although never really wanted to help cook,
was always full of suggestions on how it should be done.(she
has very refined taste or is just picky we're not sure!).
I am ever so grateful for my family and friends in my life.
I am blessed to have a brother (Tagg) who loves kids. He
and his awesome wife (Jayme) have four beautiful girls.
Teyha, the sweet helper is also the oldest and wisest (just
ask) and is also quite the cowgirl. Fayth, the entertaining
one, always has a tune or two to keep us humming as we cook.
Jayda, (Bugs) who always wants to help in the kitchen, is
my perfect little helper. That brings us to Tayce who is
still small enough to sit on the counter; she found out
recently that baking chocolate is not that tasty. My four
favorite girls were the inspiration for the name of my little
project.
I hope you enjoy my tasty treats and such as much as I enjoy
making them.
Thanks for checking out this site I hope you enjoy it!
The 4 Sisters and I hope to see you soon!!
